Pre and Post Scans
PreScan: Identification of all systems with faults.
Diagnostic scan performed on a vehicle before and after collision repairs, respectively, to identify any damage to the vehicle's ADAS systems
Post Scan: Identification of all systems to illustrate faults were cleared and none introduced
Performed after repairs are completed.
Verifies that all identified faults from the pre-scan have been addressed and no new issues have arisen during the repair process.
Ensures that ADAS systems are functioning properly and within specifications.
Calibrations
Static calibration
This calibration is performed in a controlled environment with the vehicle stationary. A target system is used with a scan tool to align sensors accurately. The vehicle is placed on a level floor with specific lighting conditions and no reflective surfaces.
Dynamic calibration
This calibration is performed while driving the vehicle under specific conditions. The scan tool is connected and the vehicle is driven at certain speeds and conditions. Clear road markings, other vehicles, and sometimes specific speeds may be required.
ADAS calibration is important and almost every car needs it after a component replacement. Some sensors that may need calibration include steering angle sensors, front-facing camera sensors, and forward and rear radar sensors
Labor
At times before calibrations can be made some labor or troubleshooting may need to be made. this can include many things such as repositioning, replacing a bracket or body parts. If this is a must we use our expertise and experience, tools, and some specific specialty tools to make the repairs on your vehicle. Labor is done by the hour.
